1765 Will of Elizabeth Williams of St Davids, Brecon 

To two daughters Margaret Williams and Elizabeth Williams house, shop etc in Llanvaes being a purchase made by Margaet Rogers lately deceased from Thomas Price and Anne his wife of the town of Swansea and now the house I live in. And a tenement and lands called Ffoer? Yr Evel? In p. Llandilo Talybont now in tenure of Matthew Price. 

Also all my personal estate – they being executrixes.

1824 Land in Borough of Brecon 

4 October 1824 Between 1. The Bailiff, Alderman, and Burgesses of the Borough of Brecon. 2. Peter Hodges, Ironmonger. All that Parcel of waste land lately enclosed by said Peter Hodges situate at the upper end of the Green in said Borough, adjoining a piece of land leased to John Lloyd esq. 

1853 Premises in Ship Street, Brecon (have document) 

11 May 1853. Between 1. Penry Williams of Penpont, Breconshire esq. 2. Joseph Powell of Ship Street, Brecon, brazier. All that piece of ground bounded on the north by Ship Street, on the south and west by the Three Cocks Lane, and on the east by the Swan Inn, and premises now on the site of a messuage or tenement, stable and yard now in the occupation of the said Joseph Powell - for a period of 99 years.
